Client Background:

The client, a traditional family with a new twist on period design, wanted a bespoke installation of a conservatory on their period building. They envisioned a space that would enhance the character of their home while also providing a functional and comfortable living area. The client had a keen interest in sustainability and energy-efficiency and wanted the installation to be environmentally-friendly.

Design Concept:

The design concept was centered around creating a conservatory that would complement the period style of the client’s home while also incorporating modern features for comfort and energy efficiency. The client chose Visofold 1000 folding doors, which would provide a seamless transition between the conservatory and the outside living area. The doors were designed with aluminum pressings to add a touch of sophistication to the overall design while ensuring durability and low maintenance.

The conservatory was designed to maximize natural light while also providing insulation and energy efficiency. The roof was designed with insulated glass panels that would provide natural light while also preventing heat loss during the winter months. The glass panels were also designed with solar control properties to minimize heat gain during the summer months, ensuring a comfortable living space year-round.

The conservatory was also designed with energy-efficient windows, which would help to reduce energy costs while also providing ample natural light and ventilation. The windows were designed to match the period style of the home while also incorporating modern features such as low-emissivity glass and argon gas fills.

Outcome:

The final outcome was a stunning conservatory that exceeded the client’s expectations. The installation was not only visually appealing but also functional and energy-efficient.
